As a kid growing up in New York City, I claimed a little patch of backyard dirt and called it mine. That’s where it all began—a love for growing things, watching them come to life, and tasting the difference that fresh makes.

Over 45 years later, I’m still in the garden. Still planting. Still learning. Still loving every moment of it (even the sweaty, messy, what-was-I-thinking ones).

I’ve also embraced a pescatarian lifestyle, which—if you ask me—goes hand in hand with gardening. Herbs that pair beautifully with seafood, garden-fresh sides, seasonal meals that make you feel good from the inside out… It just works.
